Six Musicians With Impeccable Credentials
The members of EKG come from a variety of backgrounds and musical tastes. From Classic Rock to Theater, from Punk to Afro-Cuban, the musical mix creates a unique blend that’s perfect for the DelMarVa environment.
The goal of EKG is for our audience to have fun, often with tunes not heard from other area bands. While we’ll play some of the usual favorites, we include many songs that go beyond the typical fare. Our set list includes both dance tunes and those that are just great for listening.
A sampling of our setlist includes: The Foo Fighters, Elton John, Loverboy, Billy Joel, The Cars, Huey Lewis, Susan Tedeschi, Eddie Floyd, The Black Crowes, Bonnie Raitt, Amy Winehouse, and a host of others. Variety is the name of our game.
The venues that EKG members have played throughout DelMarVa runs the gamut of every type (concert venues and bars) and every size. Appearances by EKG members include local and national Radio and TV, concert venues such as Rams Head in Annapolis, the Dickens and Milton theatres, Veterans facilities, summer Park appearances, and all the bars.
Our members have also supported national touring acts, including hit-makers Ambrosia, Charlie Morgan (Orleans/Elton John), Marty Balin (Jefferson Airplane), and recorded with Grammy-nominees. In short, the members of EKG have experienced all of the music business, and we want to bring the fun that we’ve had to you to make your evening special.
